Insight Course: Lesson Ten

In Sickness and in Health

Love and intimacy are the root of what makes us sick and what makes us well. I am not aware of any other factor in medicine - not diet, not smoking, not exercise, not drugs - that has a greater impact on our quality of life, incidence of illness and premature death.
~  Dr. Dean Ornish in "Love and Survival: The Scientific Basis for the Healing Power of Intimacy"

The place beyond death may not be scary for those who have passed through the portal of death and come back again. Yet for most of us, being sick in the physical body can be a figurative and literal pain. What is it that causes us to become sick? What keeps us healthy? These are not easy questions to answer, and the answer can vary greatly depending on what perspective we choose to take. Let us first explore the role of the pharmaceutical industry and politics in health. Please read the highly informative two-page summary at the link below:

Pharmaceutical companies sadly have become more concerned with profit than with public health. Two excellent documentaries also reveal separate, yet very important aspects of health about which few are aware. If you have time, both of these 90-minute films are well worth watching in their entirety. However, as the course was designed to require no more than two hours per lesson, please watch at least the first 30 minutes of each of these before moving on with this lesson.

https://www.WantToKnow.info/healthvideo... - The Future of Food

Both of these documentaries make it all too clear that money and vested interests have a major impact on public health. You can help to spread the word so that people can be better informed in making choices about the food they eat.

It is very easy to be critical and judgmental of major corporations which place profit above health as a priority. However, we have to ask ourselves, how many times have we compromised our own priorities in order to get more money? The realities in the above videos may simply be a reflection of what is done by many, if not most people in our world.

Most of us have at times chosen getting more money over doing the right thing at various points in our lives. Now that we are more aware, let us do our best not to be seduced by money and the perceived security that it brings, and to rather open to the possibility on the deepest levels we are always taken care of.

When each of us chooses to transform our fears and insecurities and move from a place of deep mental and emotional health, we change not only our own lives, but ripples of change are sent out which can have a great impact on the health of the world in which we live.

In order that we may be more informed agents of change in our world, we now invite you to move even deeper into the manipulations that happen involving health as a result of excessive desire for greed and power. Please read the fascinating story of the amazing, yet little-know cancer researcher Dr. Royal Rife:

https://www.WantToKnow.info/health/cancercures/cancer_cures

As a follow-up to the Royal Rife article, please read at least the first six to eight of the 20 articles at the link below for news on potential cancer cures.

https://www.WantToKnow.info/cancercuresnewsarticles

We understand that for some of you this may come as somewhat shocking news. This information can be quite disturbing, yet it is also inspiring. If a cure for cancer (or possibly many cures) has been suppressed, then through the Internet and courageous networks of activists around the world, we can bring this knowledge to light. Once a critical mass of people are informed, the call for the release of these suppressed technologies can no longer be ignored. Together, we are a powerful force for change whenever we choose to be the change together.
