Life Purpose and
The Power of Intentions

Now that you've explored the shift in paradigms of which we are all a part, we invite you to consider how this applies to your life. Possibly the single most important action you can take to help the shift to a new paradigm based on love and empowerment is to get clear on your purpose and intentions in life, and to then live that purpose and follow those intentions to the very best of your ability.

Life purpose is a single statement of deep meaning about a person's reason for being. Life intentions provide direction for moving through specific challenges which can arise in any moment. Life purpose can be extremely useful for keeping ourselves on track in life from the larger perspective, while life intentions can give us direction at key choice points with which we are presented. All Insight Course participants are invited here to consider getting clear on their intentions and purpose in life. Those who are not clear can end up more easily being swayed by outside influences. When people are not clear about what they want in life, they often follow the path of least resistance, which sometimes means following unconscious desires or other people's suggestions which may or may not be in their best interest.

When we are clear on our deepest intentions and purpose, we can powerfully move through any challenges that might arise as we work together to create a new paradigm both for ourselves and our world.

We highly recommend that all course participants develop written statements of life purpose and intentions, so that both individually and collectively we can move more powerfully in our world and inspire others by the clear principles on which we base our lives.

At the end of this lesson, we will ask those registered for the course to write your life purpose and intentions along with your impressions of this material before moving on to the next lesson. Writing a statement like this can be a wonderful way of declaring yourself in the world and allowing others to offer you support and encouragement in living your purpose and intentions.

For those who join the community networking portal of our website, you will have a personal profile page describing you and your passions. Your life purpose and intentions will also be listed there. This allows our portal members to learn about these important aspects of each other, as well as providing a means for those with similar purpose and intentions to find and support each other, and to more powerfully work together to be the change in our lives and world.
