For Course Participants

As you have now completed several lessons of the Insight Course, you are warmly invited to join our community networking portal with the status of course participant. But first, please read below for a little information on our community portal and your special status as a course participant there.

Our community networking portal is called the Gathering Spot. It was originally designed as an engaging place for those who have completed this or one of the other courses developed by PEERS to connect and share information and inspiration with other wonderful course graduates in a variety of ways.

A special section was later added to the Gathering Spot for those taking the course to seek support and guidance from members of the portal. So now in addition to the support available from the loving guides in our Course Support Center, you can seek guidance and support from members of the Gathering Spot in your journey through the course. Please note, however, that you will not be able to actively participate in other Gathering Spot activities until you have completed the course.

By signing up at the link below, you will become a member of our community portal with the status of course participant. In this special status, you can enjoy reading forum discussions in the portal, however you will not be able to post topics or comments to the regular forums. You will only be able post messages and comments in the special section for course participants. Please note also that you must be registered in our Course Support Center in order to sign up.

To post a message on the Gathering Spot requesting support or giving ideas and feedback related to the course, simply click on the "New Course Post" button near the top right of the portal's home page. We ask that as a course participant you submit only posts and comments related to the course and personal requests for support and guidance. Inappropriate use of the course participant section will result in a warning. If it happens multiple times posting privileges may be removed. You will be asked to agree to guidelines provided on this at the link below.

Once you have completed the course, you will be invited to request full posting privileges, so that you can then enjoy all aspects of the Gathering Spot and interact fully with other members there. As a course graduate, you will be able to send and receive private messages, access member profiles, use the "Friends" function, submit to the community heartbeat (personal status messages), view a map of the location of all members, and more. Please note that you will not have access to most of these functions until you complete the course.

The course participant section of the Gathering Spot only became active in late March 2010. As it is still relatively new, please don't hesitate to contact us using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of any page with questions, comments, or suggestions for improvement.
